Procedure
1. Open the drivers door, all other doors closed and key out of the ignition.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it.
3. Within 40 seconds press LOCK and UNLOCK on the vehicle door lock control 5 times at 1 second intervals.
4. Close and open drivers door.
5. Within 40 seconds press LOCK and UNLOCK on the vehicle door lock control 5 times at 1 second intervals.
6. Insert key into ignition.
7. Within 40 switch ignition ON and OFF as follows:-
Ignition ON and OFF 1 time = ADD remote, but do not delete existing.
Ignition ON and OFF 2 times = ADD remote, but delete all existing remotes.
Ignition ON and OFF 3 times = Check how many remote are programmed.
Ignition ON and OFF 5 times = ERASE all remote controls programmed.
8. Within 3 seconds the vehicle should lock and unlock the number of times the ignition was tuned on and off.
9. Within 40 seconds press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons together for 1.5 seconds.
10. Within 3 seconds press the LOCK button for more than 1 second.
11. Within 3 seconds the system should LOCK and UNLOCK to confirm programming is complete or twice to indicate a problem, Repeat for additional remotes.

Toyota Prius (2001 to 2003) Toyota RAV 4 (2006 to 2009) 2016-12-21T16:47:31+00:00

Procedure
1. Open the drivers door, and take the key out of the ignition.
2. Within 5 seconds insert and remove the key from the ignition once or twice.
3. Within 40 second close and open drivers door twice.
4. Insert and remove the key from the ignition.
5. Within 40 seconds close and open drivers door twice.
6. Insert and remove the key from the ignition.
7. Within 40 seconds switch the ignition ON and OFF as follows :-
– Ignition ON and OFF 1 time = ADD remote, but do not delete existing.
– Ignition ON and OFF 2 times = ADD remote, but delete all existing remotes.
– Ignition ON and OFF 3 times = Check how many remotes are programmed.
– Ignition ON and OFF 5 times = ERASE all remote controls programmed.
8. Remove the key from ignition.
