Emergency Key Access
On early vehicles the EKA can be gained by using the 4 digit code as follows:
Turn the ignition on and when EMS light illuminates an extinguishes, press the accelerator pedal to the floor and release.
When the EMS starts to flash, count the number of flashes and when the first digit has been flashed, press the accelerator pedal to the floor and release.
Continue this method until all floors until all 4 digits have been entered and then the car should be able to be started.
Adding a Key Manually on Red Key (master) early systems
- Insert red key, turn ignition on and off again as soon as the immobiliser light goes out.
- Within 10 seconds, remove the master key and insert the first additional key to be programmed.
- Switch ignition on and back off again as ssin as the immobiliser goes out.
- Within 10 seconds repeat the procedure for subsequent keys. A max of 7 keys can be programmed using this method.
- After all keys have been programmed, close the system by inserting the master key and turning the ignition on and off, immediately after the immobiliser light goes out.
